Red Lines
S O H N - Red Lines.
Here’s one of my favorite “new” artists from this year. And by “new” I mean “new to me” because I don’t really know anything about him besides that he’s from the UK and I love his music. He’s got this really pressing haunting sound. I love his arrangements. I don’t know, his songs just move spectacularly well and this one specifically makes me think of swimming or moving in slow motion. I especially love the last minute of this song, so much so that it makes the second time through listening to this song almost more enjoyable than the first because you know what it’s building to. This and his song W A R N I N G S are two of my favorites. Also, he has all his songs free to listen to on soundcloud, and he’s one of few artists who’s given me permission to use his music in my videos so he get super cool dude points with me for understanding the power of new media.
